Learning a second language gives your child an advantage. I am a graduate student, teaching my own Spanish class. Currently, I am enrolled at University of Arizona working toward my Ph.D. in Spanish Literature.I have been a resident of the United States for eleven years, and after graduating from the University of Hawaii, I spent many years tutoring college students in Hawaii. I am qualified to teach elementary school through college.Spanish is my first language, this enables me to teach my students the nuances of the language and make it fun to learn. I not only teach Spanish 1, 2, 3, & 4, I also teach AP Spanish. It is important to give a brief history of my culture and the differences between American and Latino communities. I also teach Hispanic Literature and Poetry.I have been tutoring for many years and have developed learning plans that are fun and easy to follow. My teaching style is pretty basic. I get to know my students, where their strengths and weaknesses are, and create a learning plan he or she understands. I want to share my culture with all who are interested in learning about it.
